Yorkshire Cricket Mela
Yorkshire County Cricket Club is delighted to be staging the 2nd MCC Spirit of Cricket Test Match at Headingley Carnegie Cricket Ground between the 21st - 25th July 2010.
This is a truly world class match between two of the leading cricketing nations, and the first time a neutral Test Match has been played in England for 98 years.
In partnership with Yorkshire County Cricket Club, Leeds City Council, City of Bradford MDC, Marketing Leeds and Welcome To Yorkshire and with its supporters, to celebrate this exciting match taking place in Yorkshire the Yorkshire Cricket Mela has been developed—a festival of cricket, culture, community and commerce.
The Yorkshire Cricket Mela will see a host of major events taking place across the region in the lead up to the Test Match with a particular focus on Leeds and Bradford.
